• Analyze product drawing and other documents to prepare cost estimates.
• Provide sales part costing for both internal and external requirements.
• Update price for existing sales parts.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, tracking actual costs relative to quotes as the product develops.
• Work closely with sales, production management, purchasing and accounts to discuss and formulate cost estimates.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements at regular intervals for the duration of the project for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data and to effect cost reduction.
• Day trip visit to China factory if needed
